Fendi needs two posts – part 2.

It was clear that Fendi needed two posts the moment I saw the collection. That it took me so long to come up with the second one is a whole different matter.

The on-going pattern with the collection was, to me, luxury, but an understated one, using shiny but classy materials, loose fits and keeping comfort as key.

Mr. Lagerfeld played up a storm using rich colors such as the blood red above, and making us all gasp in WANTING it.

I was surprised to see quite a bit of un-likeliness, in the sense of plaid/gingham prints like the one above. It somehow doesn’t seem very Fendi-esque, but it does work wonderfully. I don’t know what to think of the billowing tulip skirts, they do seem like a good idea comfort wise, but as far as them catching on? I don’t know, but I like it.

Yes, Constance Jablonski should get herself insurance for those legs. Yes. They are perfect.
