‘The Grand Couture’ or ‘Haunt me, please.’

When it comes to fashion, there’s nothing better than stumbling on masterpieces, on real works of art. It’s reassuring, it says that fashion is, indeed, an art, and an incredibly complete one at that.

These photos are part of an editorial shot by Paolo Roversi and starring Kristen McMenamy (yessss, amazing!). They will appear in the October Haute Couture supplement of Vogue Italia. Take me to Italy so I can buy that, Universe!

Quite grand and haunting, huh? I mean, these are great examples of when you first get the feeling the photography is trying to send, then you perceive its purpose, which is showcasing the clothes. And that’s not easy, these are the best of the Haute Couture this season.

P.S. I found the editorial on FashionGoneRogue.
